High-Performance Custom Systems Engineered Without Compromise

Buying a off-the-shelf prebuilt desktop often means paying inflated prices for cheap power supplies, poor airflow, bloatware, and proprietary parts that are impossible to upgrade later. A custom-built PC gives you total control over component quality, noise levels, thermal performance, and future upgradeability.

Whether you need a high-FPS gaming desktop, a heavy-duty video editing workstation, or a clean hardware upgrade for an existing system, our local bench technicians assemble, wire, tune, and stress-test your rig to perform at its absolute peak on day one.

What Is Included in Every Custom Build

When you pick up your custom PC from our Downtown Mt. Pleasant shop, it is 100% plug-and-play ready:
Professional Cable Management
Unobstructed airflow pathways and clean, concealed cable routing for maximum thermal performance and sleek aesthetics.
BIOS Optimization & Flashing
We flash motherboard firmware to the latest stable release and enable hardware optimizations (such as XMP/EXPO memory profiles) to ensure your RAM runs at its full advertised speed.
Clean OS & Utility Setup
Windows is installed with a clean local account setup—no bloatware, trial software, or annoying pop-ups. We handle all system drivers and core control software.
Thermal Benchmarking & Stress Testing
Before handing over your machine, we run comprehensive load stress tests to monitor CPU/GPU thermal performance, verify watertight integrity on custom loops, and guarantee zero crashing under heavy use.

Flat-Rate Assembly & Upgrade Pricing

We keep our build rates transparent so you can allocate maximum budget toward your core performance hardware:

Service Price What Is Included
Standard Custom PC Build $199 + parts Complete assembly, AIO air/liquid cooler installation, clean cable routing, BIOS flashing, OS installation, driver setup, and thermal stress testing.
Custom Soft-Tube Loop Build $249 + parts Includes full standard build services PLUS manual soft-pipe liquid loop installation, reservoir integration, coolant filling, and pressure/watertight testing.
Quick Component Swap / Drop-In $50 flat rate Single-part swaps (RAM kit or GPU install) without deep diagnostic testing. Includes physical install and power-on verification.
Full Diagnostic & Complex Repairs Root Cause Analysis / RCA Diagnostic troubleshooting for existing unstable or crashing systems falls under our standard Root Cause Analysis workflow.

Hardware Sourcing & Component Selection

We offer two flexible approaches to sourcing components for your custom build:

1. MyTown-Selected Bundles (Recommended)

Let us select the components for you! We draw on our supplier relationships to choose optimal, well-matched parts that maximize system stability, performance, and thermal efficiency within your exact target budget.

2. Client-Sourced Parts

Have specific parts in mind, or already bought your own components? You are welcome to bring them to our shop for assembly!

Important Note on Client-Sourced Parts: While we assemble your provided parts with complete care, we cannot guarantee component compatibility or cover manufacturer warranties on parts purchased elsewhere. If a client-supplied part arrives DOA (Dead on Arrival) or incompatible, additional diagnostic and labor fees may apply to troubleshoot or swap hardware.

Warranty, Labor Guarantees & Hardware Support

Workmanship Guarantee: We guarantee our assembly workmanship. If an issue arises due to cable connections or mounting execution, our bench will resolve it at zero labor cost to you.

Manufacturer Hardware Warranties: Component warranties (CPU, GPU, RAM, Power Supply) are backed directly by the respective manufacturers for their full warranty duration. Big-box retail stores usually abandon support after 15 days, but our shop helps you navigate manufacturer warranty claims and component RMAs should a hardware part fail down the road.

Maintenance Disclaimers: Routine dust cleanouts, thermal paste re-applications, and regular liquid coolant top-offs are part of standard long-term PC maintenance and are serviced under our regular bench maintenance rates.

Custom PC & Upgrade FAQ

1How long does it take to assemble a custom PC?
Once all hardware components arrive at our shop, a standard custom build is assembled, stress-tested, and ready for pickup within 24 to 48 hours. Custom soft-tube liquid loop builds require additional pressure and leak testing time, typically taking 2 to 3 business days.
2What is the difference between an AIO cooler and a Custom Soft-Tube Loop?
An All-In-One (AIO) liquid cooler is a factory-sealed unit that mounts directly to the CPU like a standard air cooler, which is covered under our $199 Standard Build fee. A Custom Soft-Tube Loop ($249) involves manual plumbing, soft tubing, dedicated reservoirs, liquid pumps, custom coolant filling, and extensive leak testing to ensure a watertight system.
3Do you build hardline acrylic/PETG liquid loops?
We currently specialize in high-reliability soft-tube liquid loops and AIO systems. We do not offer hardline (rigid acrylic/PETG) custom loop bending at this time.
4Can I bring in my old PC to transfer parts into a new case?
Yes! Case swaps and transferring core components into a fresh chassis are a great way to breathe new life into an existing system. When performing a case swap, we treat it just like a brand-new custom build—your components are fully dusted and cleaned, CPU/GPU thermal paste is refreshed, and cables are meticulously routed in the new enclosure for maximum airflow and aesthetics.
